Defne Abla Came to Visit!!!

She´s soooo coooooolllll....  So grown up, so pretty, and so aloof....  I want to play all the time with her, but I need to be a bit older, because I get the idea she´s too cool for me right now.  Anyways, it was a lot of fun.  Together with Defne Abla, her Anne came, Gamze Teyze, and also Selin Teyze.  We were all playing.

She came, and right away coolness struck...  She had this awesome, super cute back pack!!!  OMG!!!

As soon as she came in, she thought the place was dirty.  So she had to clean.  I was a bit embarrassed that our house did not meet her standards.

I wanted to hug her constantly.  

Everybody is stealing kisses and hugs, just look for yourself at Selin teyze.

But she would put these faces implying...  WHAT ARE THESE PEOPLE TRYING TO DO??

Eventually she loosened up, and we started playing all together, with our Annes.

Then the Annes left, and we had more girl to girl chatting...

And girl to girl playing ...

And girl to girl yelling ...

And girl to girl fighting ...

It got bad, Selin teyze had to separate us.  I was ready to destroy.

Then Anne came to calm me down.

And I really calmed down.

Then I started waking up and looking cute.

Even abla thought I was cute, so she took a picture.

And then all the girls took a picture together.

Abi Ege

I met Ege about six months ago, when I was still a baby.  I admired him a lot, he was playful, and, most importantly, could move easily from one place to the next without anyone's help!  Now I can do that too, he!  We went to see him yesterday, with Anne and Papá.  It was a lot of fun.  I did not envy his ability to move this time, but how well he can use his toys!

Here I am with Sebnem teyze and Ege Abi. Teyze was holding me back...  I wanted Ege's toy soooo bad!

Fortunately, Anne came to the rescue. She held Ege away from the toy.  He is a hard guy to hold, Anne had to battle like crazy.  In the picture you can see the strength and me making a move towards the toy.

We then played for a while.  Ege has a Kopus, like me!  I miss mine a lot, since he is in a box somewhere.  I played with Ege's though.

At some point, things got slightly out of hands.  Ege and I wanted both the same toy.  And I will not let him push me over just because he is a boy or because he is older!  I have my weapons too!

But, like good friends, we made up (I think Ege was afraid I would beat him up).

We had a great time.  Kisses to teyze and abi!!!!!

I Arrived to Istanbul

It was a long journey, but am finally here. Even if I did sleep on the plane, it was not very restful.  When I arrived, dede, anneanne and dayi were there waiting.  I was sooo happy to see them!  I hugged anneanne so hard I did not want to let go.

When we got home, I was so tired I just lie flat in the first spot I saw.

Then dayidayi came to visit.  I had not met him before, but we immediately clicked.

Teyze Arzu also came to play.  We played Superkay flying. 

We then went to see teyze Arzu, who was there with a lot of family.  Above all, coolisima abla defne was there!  I tried to play, but she outranks me.  She is too cool for me, but I will win her over. 

We played with teyze Gamze too.

That was it, the first day in Istanbul.  I close this post with some yoga.

Eduardo, el portero

Ever since I was born, Eduardo has been taking care of our apartment.  I like him a lot.  He always greets me with a smile.  So I smile back.  Here we are, us two.

Mother Daughter Turkish Food

Yesterday three couples of mother and daughter got together to prepare Turkish food.  Anne brought me, Irene brought Sofi, and Lassie brought Barbie.  We Turks taught the non Turks how to prepare Turkish food.  We prepared the lentil balls, bulgur, borek, and Papá's favorite: the Sultan's plate.  For dessert, Anneanne's fruit and cookie cake.

It was a lot of fun, but also a lot of work.  First, I arranged the details with Sofi, the only two who seemed able to coordinate things.

After deciding what to do, we went to tell Barbie and Irene.  Here's a couple of pics of the transmission of information.

Then we told Anne and Lassie, altogether.

Later, Papá and Fede came for dinner.  And I played like crazy with Fede.  He even let me play with his phone, which has a manzanita!!!  (Papá and Anne say I can play with anything except the things that have a manzanita).

 

 It was very tiring.  Fortunately, at the end Anne let me rest properly in bed.

A Blast from the Past

So, a long long time ago, I can still remember, when I was soooo  smallll, Papá used to "Boing" me up.  He says I liked it...  I don't know....  I guess I did, but how can you tell from my face back then?

A New Activity in the Playbook

I have recently discovered something that, though I cannot yet master, looks quite enjoyable.  I will work to add it to the list of my superpowers...  Check out my earliest attempts.
