Bora's Birthday!

Remember Bora?  The guy who is so grown up?  Well, duh, he turned 5 last week!  FIVE!!!  OMG!!!!!!  Anyways, we celebrated big time.  First, some sports...  I learned how to play golf!  Check it out!

Next, some goodies...  a really nice cake, made of pirates with a side of pirates!

Some of those pirates were really talented!  They formed a band that played live right in front of us!

See?  Live!

Goksel is Bora's dad.  He knows how to lift me...

We also ran around, played catch me, and other stuff...

Alp pirate was really putting on a show!

When things were over, we headed to Bora's place for a nice Turkish only gathering (Papa counts as a Turk).  We were very hungry, and eagerly awaiting for some food!

I met a new dad, that I liked a lot.  Erdem.  He played a lot with us kids.

He is almost a grown up.  This Sunday he turns five.  He is another one of us Turks in New Hamp...

Doesn't he look grown up?

Eda, my good friend...

Just wanted to introduce a new superfirend that I met here in New Hamp...  EDA!!!!  She is awesome, with these cool curls and a big big smile.  She is really good in Turkish, and none of us is very fond of English, but oh well...

First we went to her place.  She has so many nice toys!  We painted together.

Then she came to our place.  We played, but since my toys had not arrived from Santiago, mostly we ate...

Goodbyes are always hard.  But it is OK, because we can see each other often, because we live close by.  We always hug a lot...

It was a long, bumpy ride, but here we are!

The trip from Santiago to the US was marathonic, and it included a long stay in Turkey.  Let me summarize it as best as I can.  The plane ride to Turkey was long, and tiring.  I honestly could not keep up, had to sleep wherever I could.

When I got to Turkey, everything was fantastic.  I saw all my cousins...  Utku...

Defne...

I chatted with my aunts...

I saw Doruk...

I had naked Yoghurt, or Yoghurt naked...

Candy...

I exercised...

And I even met a special someone dating my uncle!

When we finally got out of Turkey and into the US, I could hardly keep my eyes open, I have been soooooo tired!

All in all, I think I will like it here.  It will take some time, but I am trying to enjoy.  To start, I met Eda, my first friend! We were working together!

Missing Santiago...

It has been a very long time since I last wrote a post.  The truth is that I have been having some mixed feelings, and I am still not sure what those feelings are.  We left Chile.  Papa and Anne are happy, but I liked Chile.  I liked my friends, and I liked to talk in Spanish.  We came to America, where people speak in English, and English is hard.  In between, we went to Turkey, and there people speak in Turkish, and that is easy.  But English...

In any case.  I first wanted to talk about all the things I will miss.  There are many many.  Start with the obvious: the school!  Yes, I will miss that most of all.  Why?

Because Antonio and Martina were there, first.  These are my pals!  My trouble companions!  I love them!

See how happy we were?

And, of course, Abril!

And Cindy and Jesu, the teachers!  What wonderful teachers I had!  And everyone, everyone everyone.

Anne and Papa say I should not worry, I will find new friends in my new school in no time!  Suppose that were true...  What about the friends that were NOT from school?  Like OLI!!!!  OLI!!!!  I miss youuuuuu!!!

And I will also miss Oli's parents, Maxi and Jose.  Anne and Papa already say they miss them a lot!  See how comfy we were all together?

There was also Valentina!  Although her grandparents live close to where I live now, so I will see her soon, when she comes and visits!  I am already excited about it!

And Fernanda also...  I would take care of her when she was sick...

I really liked her!

But there are nice things here too.  I am just too melancholic right now.  My school is great, because it has these amazing toys and swings and slides and books and chairs and...  The problem is no one knows Spanish or Turkish, so I am starting to learn English...  Hopefully, I will learn it fast.

And Papa and Anne are happy.  And Anneanne is here, although she will go back to Turkey soon.  Anyways, just melancholic.
